I have worked in childcare since leaving school. I completed a Level 2 apprenticeship and then a Level 3 in Children’s Care learning & development. Then working my way up through the system becoming the Manager at Yate Little Oaks Day Nursery in 2016. Throughout this period, I have worked across all age groups. At the start of 2016
I began a Diploma in Management.
I started at Little Oaks Day Nursery in November 2011 as an Early Years practitioner in the Caterpillar room with children up to 2 years and I took over the Senior role in 2012. I loved my time in the caterpillar room creating a warm stimulating environment for the children preparing them for their next part of their journey in rising preschool.
I take time to work with the staff team to develop learning and create an outstanding learning environment where children can play and explore to reach and develop their individual potential.
